Racing on
the Great River
For generations, Gravesend Regatta Society has brought together rowers, sailors, and river enthusiasts on one of Britain's most storied waterways. Join us for a season of competition, camaraderie, and the timeless pull of the Thames.
Tides, tradition
and the open river
For 180 years, the Gravesend Regatta Society has been a consistent presence on the Lower Thames. We have watched generations of oarsmen and sailors compete on these waters, carrying forward a tradition of sporting excellence and community spirit.
We welcome participants of all abilities, from seasoned competitive rowers to those just finding their stroke. Our annual regatta draws clubs from across the South East, making it one of the most celebrated fixtures on the Thames calendar.
